Welcome to First Grade in Room 159!
I'm Mrs. Moitoza! This is my eighth year teaching. Previously, I have taught fifth and third grade. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading. Additionally, I am a licensed Reading Specialist.
I am passionate about social and emotional learning, student engagement, and inclusive literature! This year, you can be sure that we will be addressing our social and emotional needs and reading and listening to lots of diverse books. I will do everything I can to make learning engaging. I believe in a strong partnership with families, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with anything you need this year. We are in this together!
