Mrs. Waters

Kindergarten

My name is Mrs. Waters. I'm so excited to be your teacher! We're going to learn so many new things and have a lot of fun too! I can't wait to learn all about you! Now you can learn a little about me too. 

 

I have taught first, second, and third grade, but my heart belongs to Kindergarten, where I've been for over 15 years. I love to read stories, play music, sing and dance, and play learning games. I believe we all learn best when we feel safe and happy.

 

I am married to Mr. Waters. He is a carpenter and a trumpet player. Sometimes he visits my class and plays his trumpet for my students. I have two adorable black cats named Mina and Poe. You'll probably hear a lot about them! When I'm not in school, I love to read, bake, and dance. My favorite season is autumn because I love the colorful leaves and cooler weather. I also love Halloween, pumpkins, and dressing up in costumes!!

 

To my Room 135 Families, I am delighted to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher and I am looking forward to a wonderful year! Your child is very important to me.
