ETES WEEKLY DIGITAL COMMUNICATION

Week of September 25-29

Families who pick up their students in the Car Rider area daily, please be sure that you are loading in the correct pick up lane. If you are unsure, please see the details in our ‘Arrival and Dismissal’ document linked in the news and announcement section below. It is important that all vehicles for students in prK and K form their lines in the two lanes closest to our building and all vehicles for students in grades 1 and 2 form two lanes closest to the field. All vehicles for grades 3 and 4 should wait until 3:10 before forming two lanes near our cafeteria doors. Please remember to remain in your vehicles the whole time during the pickup and drop off process. If you need to get out of your vehicle for any reason, please do not leave your vehicle unattended. We work very hard to run these pickup lanes efficiently and sometimes we are waiting for parents to get into their cars to move our car lines. We thank you for your understanding. 

 Our October Calendars have been added to this week’s newsletter. 

• PTO Meeting - Our PTO meeting has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, September 27 at 6pm in our Library
• High Five Friday- Friday, September 29, 2023- The Taunton Police Department will join us on Friday morning to greet all of our students into our building with a "High Five". This is a great way for our students to get to know their community workers. Please be aware that there will be Police Vehicles and Officers on our Campus that morning.

Future Dates

• Picture Day- Wednesday, October 4, 2023 Individual and Class Photos will be taken on this day. Picture Day order forms will be going home please be on the lookout. 
• October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month- Friday, October 6- Wear pink for breast cancer awareness.
• No School - Monday, October 9, 2023
• PTO Meeting- Wednesday, October 11 
• Football Friday- Wear your favorite football team gear on Friday, October 13, 2023
• ETES Spirit Day- Friday, October 20th. Wear your blue or bulldog gear! 
• Saturday, October 28th is Make a Difference Day- Please consider donating canned vegetables to school on Friday, October 27th so that we can donate these items to a local food bank as a school contribution to make a difference in our Community. 
• Black and Orange Day- Wear your black and orange to school on Tuesday, October 31. 
• Fall Harvest Festival- Save the date! Our Fall Harvest event is scheduled for Sunday, October 29th. More details to follow.
