ETES WEEKLY DIGITAL COMMUNICATION
Cold Weather, Warmer Clothing
That cold and frosty New England weather is here, and it is time to remind everyone to start bundling up. Our students go outside every day for recess, and it is important to dress in layers and bundle up as our temperatures start to drop. If your student is in need of a warm winter coat, we are happy to assist our families if necessary.
THIS WEEK: November 6-11
- Spirit Wear Sale- We are holding a spirit wear sale for ETES Bulldog gear. Order forms went home in student backpacks. You can also find the form attached to our newsletter in the News and Announcements section below and on our school website. Order forms and payment are due no later than Tuesday, November 21.
- Fun Run Fundraiser- Every day this week our Fun Run Coordinator Bumblebee Bethany and her team has been meeting with students at lunch to talk about the Fun Run and our WORLD CHANGER theme. She is busy teaching our students about making plans to change the world 🙂 Don’t forget to register today at MYBOOSTER.COM!
- Family Conferences are taking place this week.
- Scholastic Book Fair- This week Monday, November 13-17
- Pawsome School Store- This week students can trade tickets for prizes.
- Early Release Day- Thursday, November 16 dismissal will begin at 1pm
- 50’s Decades Day- In celebration of our 50th day of school, dress up from the 1950’s on Friday, November 17
Coming Up
- Fun Run Event- Tuesday, November 21- Families can attend to watch if the event is held outdoors. If it rains the event will be held indoors and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate families to watch. A tentative schedule will be shared with families later this week.
- Spirit Wear Orders Due- Tuesday, November 21, 2023
- NO SCHOOL - Thanksgiving Break- Wednesday, November 22, Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24
Save the Date
Come watch us in Taunton’s Christmas Parade on Sunday - December 3rd. The parade begins at noon, starting from 239 Broadway and ends at City Hall, 15 Summer Street. Interested in helping out for this event, reach out to our PTO by email [email protected] or visit our ETES PTO Facebook page.
