Coming Up
- Holiday Collection- The week of December 11-15. Each day we will collect particular items to be donated to various charities. See more details in the attached flyer in our news and announcements section.
- Fire Safety Presentations- December 11-14 Mr. Marshall of Taunton Fire Department will be presenting Fire Safety Expectations to students.
- PTO Meeting - December 13 at 6pm in the library
- Holiday Sparkle Day- Friday, December 15th. Wear sparkles, shines, lights or bright items to sparkle for the holiday season!
- Winter Chorus Concert- Families of students in fourth grade chorus are invited to watch our students perform on Friday, December 15. Please see the flyer and details in the news and announcements section below.
- Pawsome School Store- December 18-22
- Holiday Shop (PTO)- Students are invited to shop for friends and family at our holiday shop. Small items will be available to purchase so that students can gift items to family members of their choice. See more details below. This will be open on Tuesday, December 19th and Wednesday, December 20th.
- Winter Wonderland/Polar Express Day- Wear your PJs to school on Friday, December 22nd. .
- Winter Break- NO SCHOOL: December 25, 2023-January 1, 2024
Save the Date- HOLIDAY SHOP
The PTO will be hosting their Holiday Shop where students can purchase holiday gifts for their families. The shop will be held on Tuesday, December 19 and Wednesday, December 20. We are looking for volunteers who can help run the shop, assisting students in selecting items for family members and wrapping gifts. If you are interested in helping out, please click the link here to sign up.
Cold Weather, Warmer Clothing
That cold and frosty New England weather is here and it is time to remind everyone to start bundling up. Our students go outside everyday for recess and it is important to dress in layers and bundle up as our temperatures start to drop. All students should be wearing winter coats to recess moving forward. Sweatshirts are not sufficient alone for outdoor play. Please ensure that your students are coming to school with coats. If your student is in need of a warm winter coat we are happy to assist our families if necessary. Please reach out to the main office if you need resources.
FUN RUN
We did it! We reached and passed our school goal of raising $17,000 in funds for our school. Our total was $17,565. We will be celebrating this accomplishment with a school wide prize. Stay tuned for what our school decides. Thank you once again to all of our students and families for supporting our Fun Run event. We had a successful run full of happy and excited students. Thank you for your hard work in fundraising for a good cause. Congratulations and excellent job to our PTO and Boosterthon representatives for helping us put on a great event!
