ETES WEEKLY DIGITAL COMMUNICATION
Congratulations to all of our fourth grade students as we celebrated their send off this morning. We had a lovely ceremony. Saying goodbye is bittersweet but we wish all of our students all the best in their next chapter. We hope they will come back to visit. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!
Tomorrow is our last day and this will be a ½ day of school. Dismissal will begin at 1pm. We wish our families a safe and happy summer break and we look forward to seeing you back in the fall.
Our first day back for students in grades 1-4 will be Wednesday, August 28th. There will be no school on Friday, August 30th and Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Preschool and Kindergarten students will begin on Thursday, September 5th.
Our Expectation Nights will be held on Tuesday, August 27th (Grades 1 & 2- 4:45-5:30pm, Grades 3 & 4- 5:45-6:30pm). Preschool and Kindergarten Expectation Night will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd (4:45-5:30pm). More details will be shared over the summer.
ETES in Dedication of LCpl. Raymond R. LaPointe
On Friday, June 14th we held a dedication for our school building. Our school building has been dedicated to East Taunton resident and Marine, Lance Corporal Raymond R. LaPointe (1948-1967). On Friday, we welcomed the family of LCpl. LaPointe, School Committee Members, City Officials, and our Veterans, in the unveiling of our building's dedication. Our building is now referred to as East Taunton Elementary in dedication of LCpl. Raymond R. LaPointe. Last Call from the Nurse
If your child takes medication regularly here at school, all medications must be picked up at the end of the school year. Last day to pick up any student medications will be Tuesday, June 18th. Please contact our nurse if you need to make special arrangements to pick up your student’s medication. You can email Nurse Erin [email protected] if you have any additional questions.
